Design is the glue which holds all the facets of creating an idea together. That glue has been the driving force behind every product, project and endeavourer Egg has ever accomplished. The act of making something real, something that has never been before. A prototype of sorts –the first one, the proof of concept, the working model of a vision- all these are what Egg is about, whether it’s a company or a coffee table.
Prototypes are where I started, the proving ground of concepts lives here, in the prototypes, models, and working ideas. Where one believes outside the mind, an undeniable truth, that can sit in your hand or a boardroom.
Patents are the legal back up that one has created something. Patents fall into the intellectual property classification. They are good for 17 years and then its public domain. Reasons for a good patent; they help one hold onto one's rightful reward, for the act of licensing, or if you want to sell a company.
The Entrepreneur has been behind and in front of me from an early age. The idea of getting ones chores done and then you can do anything you want, fostered a paper route, mowing lawns, paper collecting, and working in the Bakery by age Twelve. Entrepreneurial tendencies are the catalyst of conceptual thoughts manifested. I can create anything is the truth of practice.
Business Plans and Strategy are the accumulation of facts and figures to show you and someone else, of the opportunity and strategies a company will take advantage of. It’s a Thesis, a plan and proposal of what is, was and what could and will be.
